Delilah is that kind of girl who you love to be with, even if it's for something small like a usual movie night. Delilah can lighten up a whole day just by smiling, not to mention the influence it has on other people.
Delilah likes to read and study, which is probably something she's got from both her parents. She has been raised to be a good girl, though Delilah, however, doesn't like being the good girl all the time and keeps herself often busy with this particular problem.
Will she drop the good girl image and turn bad? Or will she continue being as sweet as a rose? Only time will tell.
“Since Kindergarten” she answered with a smile. “that I expected” she added, when Delilah told her that she’d already made plans. She took a sip of her drink and a bite of her cupcake and allowed Delilah to continue what she was talking about. She was rather exited about…
Hilary smiled at her best friend, it was obvious to anyone that she was happier than she had been in a long time. They didn’t need to be a genius to see that. “Wow, I’m so happy for you, Del!” she squealed once again, genuinely happy for her best friend, it had been a long time since she’d been this happy and she truly did deserve all that happiness she got.
When Delilah started to obviously think out loud, and Hilary couldn’t help but let out a small laugh. “Calm down, Del” she said in some attempt to get her best friend to calm down. “I will help you with everything, from dress to shoes” she offered, she had the perfect outfit for her already lined up. She was going to look absolutely beautiful by the time she was finished with her, not that she wasn’t already beautiful. “I’ve got the perfect outfit for you” she beamed.
“Really? Are you sure you can do that?” Delilah wondered as she finished everything she had bought for herself. “How about we go shopping now, have dinner at The Ivy and then you come to my house to stay over? I mean, I need to have a sleepover and I need to be prepared for this…..date.” Delilah wasn’t sure if she could call it a date, but thinking of many previous sleepovers and talks that they have had about this kind of stuff, she was sixty per cent sure that you would call this a date.
Delilah thought about your mother quickly, because no matter how okay they were with them having sleepovers, they needed to tell their parents that they were having a sleepover at all times. “You know, I think that my mum mentioned something about both our parents having diner together so we could just tell them tonight?” Delilah suggested as she was already preparing herself to go outside, into the the cold world.
Thank you. It’s short for Eleanor but I’ve never gone by that. It sounds so grown up and stuffy.
Chocolate ALWAYS makes any day.
I’m good, just trying to get the hang of the city still. I mean I’ve been here for like 2 months but I kept locking myself away in my flat like some anti-social brat. I still haven’t even registered for school yet. -rolls eyes-
I agree, Eleanor sounds a bit too grown up, though it’s a very fancy name. Chocolate never fails me and by the sounds of it, it never lets you down too!
Ah! I’ve been living here for my entire life, though my mother is an American and my dad is English. They’re also to blame for my lack of a good English accent, though I don’t mind that much. Can I offer you a day filled with fun things? A bit like a tour through London, if you will.
I’ll pick them up as soon as I can,
which will most probably be as soon as possible.
Okay! Either me or mum will be home, though you could come by… stay… You know how we usually do it! I may hope so!
“Since Kindergarten” she answered with a smile. “that I expected” she added, when Delilah told her that she’d already made plans. She took a sip of her drink and a bite of her cupcake and allowed Delilah to continue what she was talking about. She was rather exited about today, she hadn’t spent time with her best friend in just over a month and what she had planned seemed to tick all of the right boxes. She nodded along with what Delilah was saying that she had planned out for tonight.
“Awe, no fair Del” she said, feigning a pout when she said that some things were still very secret. “However The Ivy sounds good, I haven’t eaten there in a long while” she commented. “I haven’t seen Matthew in a long time, that sounds like a good idea”. When Delilah mentioned the one actor that they both liked, her mind immediately flickered to Jake Gyllenhaal. “You mean Jake Gyllenhaal” she said, squealing again. She figured that the other inhabitants of the coffee shop were getting a little annoyed with her now. When Delilah asked her if she knew someone named Adam that went to their school, she furrowed her eyebrows a little. “I doesn’t ring any bells, why’s that?”
Delilah ignored all the other things her best friend said, such as things involved with their sleepover plans, and focussed on the last asked question by her friend. It even made her chuckle while drinking her coffee. ”I.. erm… I spoke to him yesterday. We have the same taste in lots of things so we plan on going to a movie soon. He asked me. Hil, do you know what this means?” Delilah said cheerful and held her coffee cup tight as a huge face was to see on her face.
It was clear to everyone in this store, if they paid a little attention, that Delilah was happier than happy and perhaps, just maybe, a little in love, though you were the only one who could see that because of the history they had together. They went way, way, back. ”Oh, god, I need a dress or something, don’t I?” Delilah said and was clearly thinking out loud. ”I need shoes, girly shoes, and… god, Hilary, what else do I need?” Delilah was the kind of person with several personalities, if it came to fashion and clothing. She could easily dress as a tomboy, a lady, an ordinary person (with or without grace), something comfortable and so on, though she usually looked like a lady, aka expensive clothing. When speaking of clothes, shoes were a much bigger problem. Delilah often walks in sneakers or anything else without heels, probably because Hilary was a tad smaller than Delilah was, even with heels, and Delilah wanted to make the height difference smaller. ”Hil, I need some serious help.”
Yay! This is going to be the best trip ever and it’ll be made even better by us being together. I just informed my mum on the details and she given us the go ahead. And the hotel is absolutely beautiful, Del.
I can’t wait until we can go! ooc: how about next week? Thank you! My mum has stayed at the hotel before and told me that we had to go there! I’m glad she did!
The flight to France shouldn’t take no longer than an hour. You have no idea how exited I am about this!
Neither are you about my excitement! My mum just came into my room to check on me, whether I was okay or not because I was simply expressing my excitement. Anyway, the trip is booked, Disney is a done deal and so is our hotel. I’ll send you some pictures of it right now!
Don’t worry Del, I’m going to be with you. Everything will be okay and as always fabulous.
And look at all the worries flying away! Not nervous. Very exciting!
We’ll both be fine, we have each other.
Ah! Now that even makes me relax a little bit! Just kidding! I’m superduper excited and not one bit worried!
Don’t worry Del, I’m going to be with you. Everything will be okay and as always fabulous.

It’s gonna be great!!
I can’t wait for it to begin! I’ll start booking right now!
Yay! I’m so exited!
As am I! Perhaps even a little nervous because this will be the first time of me going alone to France. I’m sure everything will go fabulous, as my mum would say.
